These people all contributed to John Proctors date with death.         John Proctors deathly flaw is his lust for one Abigail Williams, which led for his single-valued function with her and created Abigails green-eyed monster of Proctors wife Elizabeth Proctor. This affair basically roll the wheels in motion for the whole witchcraft hysteria. Proctor lives with this lading on his back throughout th e whole play. He is constantly reminded by his wife that he is no saint and that she arrest bys what he has done but she never tell him. Abigail in motion of conveyance 1 confronts John Proctor, but Proctor tells Abigail to communicate him solely that he has nothing to do with her any more. later this happened Abigails jealousy get worse and John keeps acquiring more and more depressed with the agony of the adultery he committed.         Once the trials dismount Proctor realizes that he can see Abigail by entirely confessing to his adultery. If John were to confess his good title would be destroyed in this small town and that is something he is not unbidden to do. John Proctor is too much of a towering man is he basis everything on his reputation. This is the main power he does not privation to confess. Proctor tried to give away an attempt to bring Abigail down during the witch trials, through the witness of Mary Warren, to name Abigail a fraud bu t without disclosure his crucial informatio! n. When this attempt failed John finally comes out with a full confession of his adultery. label Abigail a whore and sexual relation everybody that he was immoral of adultery. yet its too late. Abigail caused so much anguish that John Proctors confession cant even salvage him. His confession only leads to his arrest and disapprobation as a witch. What a marvelous twist in a terrible tragedy for John Proctor.         In the end Proctor does pay himself in a certain way in which he is offered an opportunity for him to make a globe confession of his delinquency and be able to live. Proctor, being the honest man that he is, broke down and signed the confession. But Proctor changes his mind and decides not to sign the confession for the undecomposable fact that his doesnt pauperization to weaken his name in the town. Also because he has a son or female child on the way and he doesnt want his son to know what he did and how he ruined his life. But he doesnt s ign the confession because he doesnt want to ruin his soul and he doesnt want to discredit himself. This once again shows that John Proctor is a very watertight man that has pride in his honor and his spiritual life. Although tragic in the end Proctor is real a hero who shows that in death there is strength, integrity, and pride. In the smell of severity John Proctor basically redeemed himself for his ahead sins in the face of god. As Elizabeth Proctor put it He gave his justice now. God forbid I take it from him!
